We stayed here for Christmas, me, my wife and two dogs. We booked via Sykes holidays. The hosts here very helpful and even though they live next door, it doesn't even feel like you live near anyone at all. Nice little village a short walk up through the church yard, everywhere was closed when we went but it was Christmas so you'd expect most independent shops to be closed. Rooms: Open plan living area, no door blocking the bedroom off so it can be tricky preventing dogs going in there. It is partitioned by a curtain. The living room is very cosy and get nice and toasty with the log burner

We stayed at The Mallard barn conversion for 2 nights. Lovely clean accommodation with everything you need for self catering . Steve the owner is really friendly and helpful. Great location for exploring- not far from Forest of dean and Symonds yat. Village only a short walk away ( through graveyard) and we frequented the 'Black Pig'- great local pub with excellent hosts. We will definitely return

Our 3rd visit, and even in lockdown there are still fantastic walks and places to explore. Very peaceful 1 bed, living room come dinning room kitchen. Patio with table and comfy chairs to sit out in. Plenty of parking, and Stephen allows dogs to roam the fields off leash as long as no stock loose. Very nice puds thats are dog friendly and and nice village store. Only 20mins from to towns. Wife and I are going again. Awesome
