Cambrian Escapes

Have now stayed here five times in total - trying out each of the cottages - and have loved every single stay. An amazing location based in thoughtfully restored and designed accommodation, with owners who really care about making sure you get the best from your stay - exploring the local area and enjoying the wild landscape. We love it here and will be back again - and again!

We had a lovely week at the New York cottage - the cottage itself is beautifully decorated, warm and cosy, with a fully functional kitchen and a lovely bath. The bedroom is at the mezzanine level and is really a lovely room. We loved the walks in the snowy hills nearby, the nature is breathtaking, and we had good fun stargazing one very cold night! Tanya and Duncan are very hospitable and made us feel very welcome - thank you. We hope to be back.

We spent a glorious fortnight at the Dark Skies campsite (Bluebell pitch). Stunning location, lovely hosts and large and very well spread-out pitches. Also that more indefinable something... just a really nice vibe to the place! Plenty of great walks possible without getting in the car and a huge variety a drive away. Firmly lodged in the we'll-be-back category!
