We stayed in Brynglas Cottage in March 2023 for a long weekend, what a shame we didn't book it for longer! The cottage itself is set in the most picturesque landscape, overlooking fields and hills in all directions, with the sound of bird song and a gentle flowing river in the valley bottom. It really is the most perfect place to escape busy life and just relax. Inside the cottage, the owners have designed and furnished the cottage to maximise space, but also to include everything you could possibly need. The rooms are a great size, we certainly didn't feel cramped, the beautiful log burner was great, although the cottage always stayed lovely and warm. The furniture was in character and very comfy, there were some lovely traditional Welsh touches such as blankets and artwork, we also slept better than even in the beds too! Location wise, there are great walks from the door and pubs just a stroll down the road. However, we used the cottage as a base to explore some of our favourite coastal areas, Tenby, New Quay and Aberaeron, whilst also exploring into the Brecon Beacons - All within an hours drive. I could go on, but I think you get the idea! We loved Brynglas, would recommend it to all and will certainly be booking another break this year.

We enjoyed a lovely winter break at this cosy property which is situated in a very peaceful, picturesque valley surrounded by impressive hills. We did local walks directly from its front door and also drove a shortish distance to ascend the nearby Black Mountain. The cottage itself has been beautifully renovated to a high standard, maintaining character and achieving comfort. The owners communications are clear, friendly and very helpful.
