        We have a National Trust card and wanted to visit some history and found this castle to visit just outside Cardigan. If you go you have to know there is no immediate parking around the castle but there is a lower car park which is down a very tight and narrow lane by the river and that takes you on a beautiful pathway up to the castle which in my opinion should be part of your visit. The castle is quite small but commands stunning views of the local landscape, take a flask and some food with you and enjoy.
