Anisa Indian Restaurant/Takeaway

Been to this restaurant two years ago no problem and food was good... Amazing how things can change in just two years. Four people arrived for dinner last night, my wife noticed the Restaurant Wrexham Council legal food hygiene rating of only 1 Star right on the front door. We immediately stopped and DID not enter and headed straight back to the car to look for another restaurant. I decided to call the restaurant to see if there was a mistake or had they hany any changes to the rating & may have been upgraded...well to my total surprise, the guy who answered the phone at the restaurant exact reply was when i asked is that correct you are only rated 1 star for food hygiene the guy replied " wheres the problem man with one star, im still trading aint i". At that point i had to reply...are you not embarrassed or trying to work at getting a better rating 4 or 5 for your customers. He replying " No man im already busy" and put the phone down. Well what can i say......restaurant has 1 star food rating. Guys attitude on telephone has 1 star attitude rating. We will never return....

By far the BEST curry I have had in a very long time! Visited Anisa for the first time tonight for my birthday... I will definitely be going back again! I honestly don't know how you are not full every night. The food was absolutely amazing! Starters were just the right size, the mains and sides were perfectly cooked, perfectly flavoured and seasoned. The meat was mouth watering. All the staff were warm and welcoming and couldn't do enough for us. We even asked for a mango drink not on the menu and they were more than happy to bring a jug out. I honestly don't have one complaint, niggle or bad comment about Anisa, infact the absolute opposite. Lovely people and amazing food. Such a great place for quality and fairly priced food which tastes great. Thank you for a great evening
