Been trying to get an appointment for treatment for an ear infection for a week only to be told that theres no appoints for 28 days and to ring 3 times a day to get in with the nurse or doctor. Doctors and nurses are lovely but the receptionists are very rude and need retraining as theyre at the frontline of dealing with peoples lives and wellbeing and they really need to take it more seriously.

I used to be patient at this surgery I have now moved out of the area. The reception staff are friendly, the Doctors are great. Always respond to requests. Chirk Surgery are 100% better than my new doctors. My new doctors are awful, they never answer the phone, reception staff are rude. It has highlighted how brilliant this surgery is. It is an asset to chirk. I wish I could come back.

Update - I received absolutely outstanding service on my second visit - - Given an appointment and it was then cancelled by the surgery as I was asking for a check up having bumped my car. I was then informed the doctor would not see me as it was an RTC and I was told to go to A&E. Ave 8 hour wait. I asked to speak to the practice manager to explain and despite this being 8:10 in the morning was told she/he was not available all day. Completely unacceptable if the doctor had completed a basic check and felt an A&E visit was more appropriate I would have gladly accepted the advice. I went to the Minor injury clinic in Oswestry and was seen within 30 minutes they even allowed me to work on e mails in the car and rang me when my appointment was about to come up. Outstanding service offered by a warm friendly caring team.
