I found Richard Burbidge to be very helpful when I had an issue with a component. The technical, quality and customer service teams were good, acting quickly to get it resolved despite staffing shortages. They kept me updated throughout so I knew what was happening. My experience of the company was very positive, and I would use them again without hesitation. Their Elements stairs products are great quality and good value too.

Keep away from this company. I have had a totally frustrating experience. I placed my order via the design department who's help I required as the module and fittings I wanted were no longer available at B&Q. I paid the company they forwarded me to as they only sell via retailers. I waited and waited, no delivery. Finally I received the order only to find it both incomplete and the wrong items. Going back to Richard Burbidge I was assured it would be rectified. The remainder of the order was delivered, but the spindles had possibly been put through the planer against the grain, so not only were they rough, the grain was lifted and scorched in places.I was told they would be collected and the other parts that were incorrect would be replaced once the spindles and incorrect parts were received back into the warehouse. This was later denied as it is not their policy.....but that's what I was told. ! 4 working days later and a weekend and nothing has been collected. If I had taken a holiday from work to do this job it would have been wasted time. Had I have been a contractor, by now I would have very unhappy customers. As it is I have one unhappy wife and all the stress that goes with dealing with a company who are just not on the ball. Steer well clear of Richard Burbidge, there are other companies out there doing all the same products , but with less complacency.
