Talking Teeth

I visited the practice on the 2/5/23. The dentist mr Stefan Ivanhof was very good and helpful he gave me time to consider my options and then sorted out my tooth. Would definitely recommend

WORST EXPERIENCE EVER!!! AVOID STEFAN IVANHOF!!! I Observed small fracture line across crowned tooth in the front of my teeth. During my routine check up, I expressed my concern. This being "what if food gets stuck in there,slight discomfort and its position. . He virtually ignored my concern ,I was dismissed -come back in 9 months. 3 days later upper part of fractured crown tooth fell out. Having concern and discomfort regarding this loss, returned to dentist following conversation with receptionist. This visit to STEFAN IVANHOF was the most rude,patronising,unhelpful,accusational,unprofessional visit I have ever had in the 54 yrs of visiting a dentist regularly. The "man" spoke loudly to me in a way I have never experienced before from a "so called" professional. He questioned my knowledge,made me feel like I was taking up "emergency appt" and that my loss of crown and discomfort did not qualify for my visit that day. After being shouted at and demoralised for quite some minutes,I asked if he had finished what he was repeating to me and left his dental room,making him fully aware of my feelings that he was being rude and unprofessional . I was very upset and embarrassed by this whole experience. I emailed my concern/complaint to the area manager "Glenn" who eventually answered,after my query asking if he had received email because it had not been answered or acknowledged. Of course, he felt STEFAN IVANHOF had not acted in an appropriate manner, then went on to explain STEFAN IVANHOF, now felt there was a breakdown in communication and he would therefore not be able to offer any further dental treatment to me. Really??? Well that wasn't a surprise to me,whatsoever!!! I had however made an appt in Pearl dental practise in Oswestry. The treatment I have been given there,up to date,has been impeccable, 5 star, at least. I WILL NEVER SET FOOT IN TALKING TEETH DENTAL PRACTISE EVER AGAIN, thank goodness !!!

I can't believe the service at this establishment, I had an abscess that could've taken my eye and they wouldn't see me because I was on the nhs free dental care, money grubbing DOGS these lot. Steer clear

Had a deep clean and polish off Asad the hygienist and nurse Claire. My experience was amazing ! I was a bit nervous as have very sensitive teeth on one side, they were so understanding, kind and patient with me, I felt very relaxed. My teeth also look great and are not sensitive at all. Asad and Claire gave me such good advice on the questions I asked them.

Just been and seen Asad the hygienist and Hayley the assistant. They were brilliant. Asad is so caring and gentle in tone and has done a wonderful job. It is a happy place Nicky the receptionist was lovely too. I am so grateful we have a dentist and hygienist in Chirk
