My 1st experience of glamping and I'm hooked. Can't imagine a better site. Warm relaxed welcome and spotlessly clean, well maintained with everything you need for a relaxing recharge of batteries. We were lucky with the weather which was a bonus, but the facilities are so well organised that rain wouldn't have been an issue. Well equipped kitchen, with gas cooker and hot and cold running water, compost loo which wasn't as bad as I was expecting.. and very clean. Comfy beds with lovely bedding. Plenty of free space around and not overlooked. Lovely and peaceful. Great fire pit for outside cooking and all weather dining area.

We went away as a family staying on the wren and coppice pitches. The kitchen on the coppice pitch was very clean and useful. The site was well spaced out to allow plenty of peace, privacy and freedom for the children to roam. We had an extremely peaceful stay as we were the only campers there. Nothing was too much trouble for Mel and Rob. There had been bad weather in the week before our trip and they kept us informed about any issues due to the weather. They also helped us by taking our equipment to the pitch with their 4x4 to ensure we didn't have any problems with the car on the field as a result of the weather. And they left us to empty the 4x4 as we pitched up without hovering over us. All the facilities were spotlessly clean and the shower on the camping field was warm and not at all draughty as can sometimes be the case. The children loved the space to explore and play and they enjoyed watching the pigs, lambs and goats being fed. We had a wonderful weekend and wouldn't change a thing except perhaps the bad weather!

Just got back home after a wonderful Easter weekend at Wild Cherry Camping. The hosts are very welcoming and are always available if you need anything. Every pitch has a compost toilet, picnic bench, shelter and fire pit. Its a short walk to the shower and a small on site shop selling logs and other bits for a fair price. Its in a lovely location, very tranquil and lots of wildlife. Im looking forward to our next visit already!

We've just returned from a lovely camping trip at Wild Cherry Camping and can't recommend it highly enough. We were greated by Rob shortly after arriving who was very welcoming and left us to settle in. There were three pitches in the same field with lovely views of woodland, wildlife and farm animals nearby. Each pitch was clean, tidy, and has a firepit, food preparation area and composting toilet. Communal kitchen, shower and toilet facilities are available both in the field and back up at the car park where all vehicles are kept. There's a great honesty shop near the carpark with a fridge and feeezer available for guest use. The honesty shop includes lollipops, fresh milk, local freerange eggs, etc. If you're after a quiet, eco-friendly experience with good local amenities and friendly hosts then I recommend you consider Wild Cherry Camping.
