I contacted hood tech via email about my panoramic sunroof and a rattle inside the car. I did not know they also dealt with fixed sunroofs. Well it turns out they do and they have experience of them. I spoke to Charles by phone and he said he can pull down the headliner and check things underneath and also fix the issue. However, I explained I had taken the car to the franchise garage. Charles suggesting using a spray grease lubricant in the seals and gave me a make of it and I did that and the rattle has gone. The things that Charles said all made sense and I had been doing a lot of research on this subject in respect of my make of car before I contacted him. He has saved me about 1500 if I were to take it to a franchise dealer. I would have to say the fee Charles was going to charge was very reasonable for someone with the specific skill. Nothing like I had been quoted by the franchise dealer. I also wanted a sunroof specialist in the north of England so I did not have to travel south as I am based in the north. I am intending on keeping my car for at least 5 years more and if I have any issues with the Sunroof I will be taking it to Charles it really shows he is here to help and not just try and make every penny from the public. He really does know his stuff.
