        Plenty of good equipment, ground floor & upper floor.friendly staff and very reasonable prices for day pass and membership.been using for almost a year and very happy.

        The Yard gym is an amazing place to train, the lads there are really helpful and down to earth. Lee is really hospitable and helps you to get the best out of your training. Scott is a personal trainer and a diet nutritionist and he is always at hand too. The Yard has so much equipment and it has an upstairs and a downstairs area. It has the most Strong man equipment in the Northwest and is currently working on Strong man shows on site. I feel so at ease there and as a woman I couldn't train in a more welcoming place. Keep up the good work lads

        Probably the best strongman gym in the UK. Some really specialist equipment, Hercules Hold, Car deadlift and proper oak logs. Plus much more. The owner is welcoming and always adding more equipment to an already impressive selection. Loads of bodybuilding stuff too
