Wilmac Flooring did what no others could. We had done an extension and needed its floor and existing floor levelling and a mixture of Karndean tiles installing. After months and months of wildly varying quotes, no shows and painful, worrying comments of potential issues due and an impossible levelling of the old floor Wilmac came in and took ownership right away. The job didn't faze them at all. Mike looked around and understood our requirements of using wood effect Karndean and Heritage tiles together. The levelling and amount of compound needed posed no issues whatsoever! The new concrete was tested for moisture and he explained how it would be treated to be safe. Easy! A breath of fresh air. His guys arrived when they said they would and Ross was amazing. Watching him and his team work was incredible, the floor was levelled without issue and looked 1000 times better. Then the karndean was laid, again, seemingly effortlessly. One minute there was just one plank laid and the next time I looked, half the floor was done and i was blown away. The other companies just filled me with dread about how the karndean i'd purchased was wrong, how they would not lay it as they didn't supply it, could not be laid or would need so much installation and labour i'd be better off with ceramic or carpet! Ross came back to finish the intricate installation of the heritage floor tiles and my vision was complete. I cannot recommend these guys enough. They cleaned up and the job was done. Mike was a pleasure to deal with from start to finish. From initial contact he arrived when he said he would, explained the various options available on what we were thinking about, and then provided a very competitive quote. He was patient with several of my clarifications until we got everything all agreed. When it came to the install of the new floor the lads were very good, polite, quietly got on with the job, tidied up after themselves at the end of the day and quality of the finished job is superb. Used Wilmac flooring for the first time about 5+years ago now, to fit Karndean wood plank vinyl tile, in most of my downstairs. Did an absolutely brilliant job. They were fast, clean and professional throughout. Sitting here now ready to book them to come do my kitchen and I can say the original job is still weathering the test of time.
