Wonderful visit to your spectacular, vista perfect, racecourse last Friday evening in glorious sunshine as a racehorse owner (Tango for Sally in the third race) to enjoy the thrill of excellent National Hunt racing at excellent Chepstow. One disappointment was the astonishingly poor pulled pork served by lovely, super helpful, catering staff in the majestic Owners and trainers Dining marquee. The Pork tasted of reheated, left overs from a previous catering event! As fresh as a musty loft.. Three fork fulls were three too many and the pineapple served with had an age of marsh tree rings about it. Such a shame otherwise it was fabulous return visit to one of my favourite racecourses as a previous runner ,Gumley Gale, won a large field H'cap chase here 15 years ago of which i have the fondest memories. Please do hold an inquest as to the varied journey taken by the pork in question. Kind Regards Ashley Maunder

Visited here as part of my tour of racecourses of the UK and can safely say it was by far the worst. The facilities were disgusting, I used the gents and had to wade through a sea of urine, it honestly just looked like people had used the floor. There was litter everywhere with very few bins about and there was then an issue of a stag do having way to much to drink and some of them entered the parade ring while the horses were in. Security eventually arrived to remove them but it took an age. The most disappointing part of my visit was a horse that fell at the last fence in front of the stands. Unfortunately it had to be put down, the commentators completely ignored the fact it had happened, offered no update to visitors nor made any attempt to offer condolences to the owners and connections. Can safely say I will not be returning, and would urge others to visit other racecourses in the surrounding area instead.
