Had a great break away from it all at this lovely quaint end cottage, secludedly set into the Carmarthenshire countryside away from light pollution and traffic. Ducks, geese, sheep and a pair of cute alpacas will entertain you, you can watch in amazement the murmarations of starlings and the milky way opens up to a sight you may have never seen. Loved my stay here, will definitely be going back for another stay in the future. Great hosts, so friendly and helpful.

Lovely stay. I couldn't cope with the smell of the drains, every time we used kitchen sink we had to vacate the premises. I am pregnant though so could just be me!

Absolutely lovely October half-term with my 11 year old and our young dog. Hosts were very welcoming, friendly and polite. We were welcomed with pastries, tea/coffee bits and extra bedding for the sofa bed. Also had plenty of towels and lovely toiletries. Sofa bed was surprisingly comfortable; we kept it out the entire stay! The cottage was very clean despite previous reviews suggesting otherwise; we were very comfortable throughout - no problems with smells or dirt or anything. Very colourful with lots of character. WiFi was also surprisingly good and fast with very few drop outs (during stormy weather). Also very warm despite the weather and we even had to turn heaters down a couple of times. We didn't venture out beyond the farm and surrounding land but enjoyed the animals we met and the walks we took. The kitchen was very well stocked with equipment which allowed us to bake cakes and cook a roast. There's a Lidl about 20-25 minutes away so very affordable self-catering option. It was nice to have an enclosed garden but was mostly patio and gravel so our fussy dog had to be walked outside to toilet. The night sky was absolutely beautiful on the one night it wasn't cloudy; must be amazing in the summer! The only minor thing for potential guests to consider is that the cottage is attached to the host's home via a locked internal door. This meant we could hear their dogs bark and we could also hear some movement at times which occasionally set our dog off. Might not be suitable for reactive or sensitive dogs. Would happily return if we want to go to Wales again.
