Small little place with character and a small upstairs to sit. friendly chap serving too Im not a coffee expert but the hot choc was as bitter as 70% chocolate or darker and the mocha more so with coffee in it too. Unfortunately no food there when we got there in the morning Was expensive for the size of the drink out of all the places weve visited over the week in the area

What a find thanks to the reviews here. This cafe is so lovely, very small inside but actually surprisingly enough space for a few tables of people and quite a few tables outside. A lovely range of delectable pastries and cakes and a great selection of hot drinks. The hot chocolate is the best I've ever had, and it was worth visiting for that alone. But we also tried an amazing take on a pain au chocolat (as if that wasn't decadent alone) and the staff were beyond welcoming, friendly and helpful. Massive praise on running such a lovely coffee shop, just wished I could visit more regularly! Also, very dog friendly which for me is a huge plus!! And a range of gifts and chocolates available too. No soya milk which is the downside for me as I like to avoid dairy but keep protein content high but not a huge deal as I can imagine it's very hard to keep a number of alternative milks available.
