Very surprised to see some of the reviews on here! We came upon Tinkers Kitchen by chance on a brief visit to Cardigan. We had an interesting, lengthy chat with the owner. He had some beautiful wood and I would have loved a larger piece, but living on a narrowboat we sadly do not have the space. However, I bought a beautiful piece of Yew which will take pride of place on our boat.

Came across this place a few years ago in St David's and really liked the rugged simplicity of the store. At the time I asked for a house name sign for my parents. Really well done, hardy, solid, scorched, oiled and nicely turned out. Very happy parents. Went to Cardigan for a family holiday in June and found that Tinkers Kitchen had moved here, brilliant luck! This time I had a house number made for my house plus got an amazing chopping board, massive piece of solid Welsh Oak which I am more than happy with. Very happy with my items. I found the vendor to be really nice, laid back honest approach to what he does and how he does it. So glad he moved to Cardigan, Tinkers Kitchen is definitely a great addition to the place, more power to them!

Saw this place when I went to St. Davids a few years back. Clearly he had to move due to his disgusting manner of business. Owner is simply rude and horrible. He shouted at me and my children as we walked past his shop. I don't know how anyone can expect to run a business being such a horrid pr*ck to customers..
