Ive used George, Davies and Evans for the sale of two houses and for the purchase of two houses over 18 months and will continue to do so when needed. Dafydds communication has always been excellent and of the no nonsense approach. Weve usually been able to get things done via email but Ive always been able to speak directly within a day, which is invaluable when things crop up. This was even the case when Dafydd was working from home in the midst of the Covid pandemic. Buying or selling a property is often full of pits falls as theres usually so many people involved between parties. Our recent purchases and sales would certainly have not gone as smoothly as they did without the input and diligence of those I dealt with at George, Davies and Evans.

We engaged them about a month before we arrived in Wales with a view to moving into our new home almost immediately upon arrival. We turned up at the office a couple of days after arrival and the solicitor said, "I better get started then". The solicitor got the job done, but oh so slow, We regularly checked up and prompted for action. Their delay cost us several thousand pounds in hotel accommodation whilst we waited over two months to get possession. Make your own mind up???

My experience wasn't the best. The initial meeting was promising (although advice I was given here turned out to be untrue with one week to go before I had to settle) but once that was done the quality of the service and care towards my case degraded rapidly. I had to chase my solicitor for updates daily by phone and email. I would be promised call backs that didn't materialise, including y"receive a call by the end of play Monday, all of a sudden its Friday and I've heard nothing back. Considering deadlines ended early the following week i would hear nothing. Waiting all weekend only to receive a rushed email on Monday containing incorrect information and mistakes, which resulted in more delays and further costs to me. All in all I regret choosing GD&E to represent me and and most definitely wouldn't use again.
