We had problems with damp in the living room, hallway and kitchen. Phil came quickly after asking for an assessment and undertook a thorough look around. He wore a mask throughout which was reassuring. He sent a detailed quote (see pictures) breaking down what needed to be done and a map showing exactly where the work would be done. Unlike many companies we got quotes from Crown included taking off/on radiators and replacing skirting boards. The only thing we would need to do was get the carpet re-fitted. Phil had people off when he was due to start so things were delayed by a day, but otherwise the team arrived when promised. We already knew that the job was a very messy one and had made a massive effort to cover everything up. Crown added to this with their own sheets. It was - as expected - a very dusty job but things were kept to a minimum. The job was well done and after painting the place looks back to normal. Looking at how much work was done the price paid is very fair indeed. I've dealt with a couple of companies for this sort of thing and Crown are the most professional I've come across. Thanks!
