Good museum within castle walls. Sufficient kevel of description to keep you interested while setting a reasonable pace to get round it all.

This museum, which is still relatively new, tells the tale of two Welsh regiments. Entry is included with Castle admission, so depending on whether you visit the other attractions included in the ticket, it's either "free" or extremely expensive. There is a fair amount of interactivity, including the opportunity to try on vintage uniforms and, at the time of my visit, some polite and knowledgable staff members had a number of antique firearms on display from their handling collection. The drawback is that captions are frequently challenging to read (I know light levels are low to preserve artefacts but there are ways to do this). There isn't really much in here, and what there is frequently seems second-class, despite coming from the collections of several illustrious regiments.
