After a bad experience with a surveyor who failed to provide information on their RICS number I called Welsh Counties Surveys Ltd and got in touch with Haydn who provided his RICS number and talked me through his services, then promptly carried out a survey to the highest professional standards after instruction. I can't recommend him and his work enough. The resulting report was very thorough, with clear images notes and recommendations. The follow-up call with Haydn also helped us get clear on next steps, and helped provide us the confidence we needed with a property to move forward with the purchase. When making such a big decision it pays to use people like Haydn, and it is well worth the money. Please do not do what I initially did and quickly instruct someone without checking their credentials properly, and checking whether the reviews people write for them look real (there are some shady operators out there). Please read the reviews and check if they look legitimate, don't just look at the number of stars, also speak to the individuals who will conduct your survey and check their credentials. I nearly made a huge mistake on my first instruction, and thankfully checked the credentials before paying anything then cancelled when they failed to provide their RICS number. It all came good in the end because I found Haydn and Welsh Counties Surveys, so perhaps in the end these shady operators did me a favour. Either way, thanks Haydn for the great work. Really appreciate it.
