How did I not know The Coconut Tree was a chain?! Having only visited the Cheltenham branch (pun intended), the Cardiff restaurant did not disappoint! I had to go for the vegan kotthu again and I tried the vegan hopper as well! A bit too spicy for me but definitely worth a try. Next time Ill ensure Im not the designated driver so I can try more of their cocktails!

A nice little introduction to Sri Lankan food although not totally authentic. Very limited menu but the chicken curry is absolutely divine, melt in your mouth chicken and the rottis also lush. Portions are very small, I had to order quite a bit to feel full.
