Elmarie has been absolutely amazing, within a few months we are already seeing good progress. Elmarie's subject knowledge is quite wide and she . has also been wonderful in terms of guiding me through ways to improve my son's communication. I would thoroughly recommend her services.

Our son Ellis is 3 years old and non verbal with very limited communication at all, we were recommended to have speech and language sessions with Elmarie. Ellis has also always suffered with ear infections and was already under paediatrics, ENT and NHS SALT. On our first assessment appointment Elmarie identified that Ellis had tongue tie, and an overbite which is most probably the cause of his reoccurring ear Infections. This is something no one else had picked up at any of the appointments despite examining Ellis. Elmarie Compiled a report and forwarded it to our paediatrician and ENT consultant which resulted in Ellis having surgery to release his tongue and grommets to help with the ear infections. Since having these procedures Ellis is doing much better and is starting to interact more. I cant recommend enough. If it wasnt for her we would no doubt still be in the same position. Thank you Elmarie.

Elmarie has helped my son, 6, with a couple of areas of speech, in what I think is a very short time frame. Lockdown and home schooling made me realise that the speech problem I had noticed but had no luck helping my son to change was also impacting his written work. Having never engaged with speech therapy before, I did not know what to expect, especially during lockdown where everything has been virtual. We have felt comfortable and confident with Elmarie. I wasn't sure my son would even sit at the computer for half hour when we made the first appointment, but the video call and ability to share screen with games that he was very interested in has been excellent and he has enjoyed and wanted to improve. Within a few appointments he had cracked one sound and is well on his way to fixing the other problem area (which I hadnt noticed until Elmarie pointed it out). I would definitely recommend Elmarie Kilian for anyone looking for some professional help.
