Always enjoy the food here. Can get very busy though especially weekends. And the kitchen does close quite early compared to others in the area. But when you can eat, its super quality!

Shocking service yesterday , came as a group of 4. Was told 45 min wait which was fine......paid separately within 2 minutes of each other......2 peoples starter came out within like 35 mins, me and my partner was still waiting nearly 25 mins extra we asked a waiter who said 5 mins. Gave 10mins and still nothing, asked guy with long hair what was happening as other 2 people we was with already had there starters, all we had was that kitchen had 4 tickets within each other which is why ours weren't done and because the order was done separately it'll be extra times??? What within 2 mins of each other putting order through!!??? Before my partner could respond the guy walked off and went to the bar. Our food show up 5 mins later after the girl on bar seen me look over to see what the guy was doing as they way we seen it was that he was still dealing with a customer and it was unprofessional of him to do that. One of the peoples we was with asked for all 4 steaks to come out together which was fine, I asked for medium and the steak wasn't a medium at all, we was hungry so we just aye it, had our drinks then left. Never had such an issue before but we now won't be coming back after yesterday. (1st May 2023)

Appalling customer service. Allegedly a 'family-orientated' establishment that welcome children. However, when our child asked for some of his 5 pocket money to be changed so he could have some games of pool (the pool table is within the premises) with his dad, he was refused. He was told it was against the premises rules to give change!!! Upon querying this with a member of staff, i was promptly informed that if this policy was disagreeable, then we were "quite welcome to go elsewhere". To make this comment far worse, was the fact that i was informed they required change be "available for customers" & couldn't keep giving change. Sitting there as paying customers - quite frankly, I was astonished & disgusted by this remark. Utterly disrespectful & really quite rude!! Furthermore, a 5 deposit was required for the pool cues. This is no problem at all. However, I do take issue with the extent of the "change giving policing" as only having a 20 note to offer - this was taken & kept as they wouldn't give the 15 change. Utterly laughable!!! Perhaps DO NOT have facilities on site such as the pool table the toy vending machines etc.... clearly that will attract the attention of children, unless you have the capacity for paying customers to use them!!! There are far nicer places to give patronage to than this place & for certain - given the manner of the staff here - we will NOT be returning.
