Green Lady

Whenever I'm home I've always popped into the Green Lady for a couple of pints because its within walking distance from where I'm staying. Although a relatively new pup it's always had an inviting atmosphere and a good pint of Guinness. However on my last visit I'm sad to say they've turned it into a sports bar. What a shame. Must everything become americanised. People from all over the world visit the UK and look forward to have a drink, and maybe something to eat in an traditional British Pub. SAVE THE GREAT BRITISH PUBS PLEASE! before it's to late. PS the Guinness is still good.

Found hair in cheesy garlic bread,and in a rocky road sundae ,not sure if staff thought we planted it there,but I can assure I didnt ,not sure if I want to eat there again .

The Greenlady is a fabulous pub. Atmosphere is lovely, I always feel very safe and welcomed whenever I visit. The Sunday dinners are delicious and plentiful. There is a good selection of wines and drinks. The landlord Adam and his partner Emma are very friendly and welcoming as are all the staff, nothing is too much trouble and they work very hard to make a home from home. The pub is at the heart of the community and Adam often holds fundraisers for local causes. Although part of the Marstons chain. Adam and his staff make the the pub a true local .
