The service was bad 2 days ago no welcome some staff are friendly and some staff have bad customer service the new staff they have got bad customer service, this place has not changed when you go to collect your medication they keep you waiting so long when they have 4 or 5 staff in the afternoon all there is talking to each other and making people wait in this heat, went here today to give it another try and at 9am I had to wait 15 minutes outside because the pharmacy was not there so he came after 15 minutes.

Rude, unorganised, bare shelves, late, 2 hour lunches and fob you off if you are there 15 mins before it closes.... and judging by other reviews, it obviously is a reoccurring problem. If you can't provide a half decent service to the community then there is no point being amongst it really.

I went into this branch a few weeks ago to order the 2nd half of my stexerol medication. I went in with the form and was told I needed to reorder with the butetown pharmacy or they could do it for me but would take a week to transfer it. As I was already there, I took up their offer and let them do it. A week and a half later, I went back to homesdale to pick it up. The girl at the counter asked for my name, checked and said it hadn't even been ordered. She said again she would order it. I explained it was very important as my lungs don't function properly without it, so please make sure its ordered. She agreed and said it would be here in 2 days. I went back 2 days later. The same girl took my name. I could hear her talking with the male colleague about my birth control. She came back and said I had to order from the doctor. When I explained my birth control was a completely different thing and I was here for my stexerol, she checked the computer again. What a suprise, it hadn't been ordered AGAIN. There wasn't even anything on record showing my medication. The male came out then, saying I had to order it myself. I explained that I was told they could do it, to which he came up with an excuse "maybe it's with the surgery". A prescription wouldn't be at the surgery and it sounded like lies to shift blame. I asked what had happened to my form. He didn't know. I then went to the butetown surgery, 15 minutes in the opposite direction to see if the receptionist could help. The poor doctor had to waste his time writing me a replacement form. In a time where doctors are incredibly short staffed, this is not something they should have to do. I went downstairs to their on site pharmacy, handed in my new prescription and had it in my hand within 10 minutes, and only 3 days to spare. The incompetence of homesdale pharmacy could of really risked my life and i wont be forgiving that. The constant lies of "yeah we'll order it", when they had nothing even on record on several occasions. Once could of been a mistake but twice is on purpose. Its pure laziness on their part. The staff need training fully. You can't be in charge of a person's health medication with that level of incompetence. You will cause people to end up hospitalised, as i would of been had I of not received my medication on time. The ridiculous thing is, one of the surgery employees recomended having my medication sent to homesdale pharmacy rather than butetown because they're less likely to loose prescriptions, something butetown has apparently been found to do a lot. But I guess homesdale are even worse. I would suggest taking a photo of your prescription before handing it in so you at least have proof of it. I've only given an extra star because one of the homesdale girls was lovely and seems like its not her job to order in. Her customer service was on point. The rest of the experience was shocking.
