Car park machine could t read pre paid parking QR code so in the end had to pay 12 for parking

The car park is actually in a nice location. We were staying in the Premier inn next door which helped us save a bit of money on parking fees. On the Sunday, (16.04.23) our car battery had died over night. Left the ambient lights on and it just flat out died. I happened to see a man (Rob) cleaning the public areas and asked him for help with the battery to which he tried to charge it for us, but that didnt work so he went out of his way to then bring his own car round and jumpstart us. After a few goes the engine finally kicked in and he let us stay attached a little longer to make sure it was going to be okay. he was an absolute star!! Without him, we wouldnt have know what to do. Rob we there in our time if need as we travel Back to England tomorrow, since we came down for our honeymoon. He saved our day and I couldnt be more grateful! So kind and polite. I hope he gets recognised for this!
