Duffryn Ffrwd Manor

As a Student Nurse who recently completed a placement here, I just wanted to leave a quick comment to say how wonderfully warm and welcoming the entire team are at Duffryn Ffrwd Manor. This isn't a typical clinical setting for a student nurse - this was much more akin to being welcomed into a big family home and it was truly heartening to be able to witness firsthand how well the residents were cared for by everyone - from the nurses & carers to the kitchen team and domestic staff. It restored my faith in human nature and reminded me a great deal of the values I hope to represent - and the qualities I aim to embody - when I eventually qualify as a Registered Nurse. I absolutely loved my time there and have no doubt in my mind that it'll go down as one of my favourite ever placements as a student. My heartfelt thanks to the entire Duffryn Ffrwd Team!

Beautiful gardens just to sit and enjoy and lots of entertainment for the residents. The cleaners are so helpful, polite and professional.

My great aunt lived at Duffryn Ffrwd manor (residential then nursing) for many years. When I chose to change my career the home was my first choice. It is a lovely place to work and I have now been here nearly 11 years.

A wonderful place to work as a student mental health nurse for my placement. Care provided to service users was excellent.Genuinely caring and friendly staff and team and very well managed.

Spoken to staff lovely and also manager looking after my nana brilliant A* will be seeing nana soon cant wait to give her big cuddles.
