Bayside Brasserie

I ordered "catch of the day" which I was told was cod. It appeared to be no more than something I would have in my freezer at home. A piece of battered cod - the sort you'd get from Cap'n Birdseye and processed potato fries. The day before my visit here I had a calamari starter and 8oz rump with home made triple cooked chips and all the trimmings for less than what I paid here. Very disappointing.

Good view over the bay. Liked the atmosphere. As others have said, average food but overpriced. Most staff excellent, but one was incredibly rude and so wont be going back. Adding 10% service charge to the bill automatically is not great.

Outstanding service and food staff know what there doing which is rare these days will definitely visit again highly recommended

Restaurant was almost empty, we had drinks and nibbles only. The waiter brought out bill without us asking for it, while in the middle of our drinks. Service was very disappointing. Will not go back

Amazing view, probably the best in town but this is where the unique selling proposition ends. Service is ok, but food not good at all. We got our pasta served half cold, with a below average taste.
