For nearly 8 years i combined my paid retail job with volunteering in this shop but unfortunately i felt i had to leave. The shop is a Christian ministry run by a committee and unfortunately there were behind the scenes issues i was unhappy about, thus leading to my average rating.
I can recommend the shop as a place to volunteer if you are retired or have no past retail experience. If, like me, you are in professional big chain retail right now some factors will make you frustrated.
