Highly recommended! Ive seen a few doctors and have explored various options (including the NHS who advised me to go private as the lenses they recommended were not available through them) about aggressive form of cataract in both eyes. As soon as I met Prof Muhtaseb, I booked both surgeries. I had cataract surgeries with multi focal lenses inserted in both eyes four weeks apart. The operations itself were quick, post op care amazing with phone calls and check-ups. A week after my surgeries, PCO was spotted in both eyes. It quickly developed and Prof. Muhtasebs reaction and guidance were invaluable as soon as I started losing vision again. I had a YAG laser appointment within two days and after that my vision was clear again. Its been now over six months with perfect vision. The best return on investment!

I can highly recommend Professor Muhatseb for cataract surgery. I have had multifocal lenses inserted into both eyes eleven weeks apart. I had a very thorough pre op consultation and successful surgery. The post operative care was excellent. I was treated very considerately and caring by all the staff involved. I no longer need to wear glasses for reading or long distance and my eyesight is absolutely perfect.

I have recently had cataract surgery in both eyes a month apart.The surgery has completely changed my life style and has given me hope for the future.I had particularly poor eyesight with the added complication of macular degeneration in one eye and worn thick glasses or contact lenses from the age of 15. The operation lasted approx 30 mins and the nurses at the Nuffield hospital in Cardiff could not have been more kind and caring and put me at ease during my short stay.Professor Muhtaseb personally carried out the 2 procedures He is extremely professional and knowledgeable and it is evident he is an expert in this field.The aftercare from himself and his team was very reassuring with follow up calls and numbers provided that enabled me to contact somebody if the need arose.I had no complications and all instructions were given verbally and were followed up with written instructions .My goal was to carry on with my job in Dentistry. drive safely especially in the dark and enjoy my hobbies All this has been achieved by the exceptional dedication of the professor.I would advise anyone who needs a cataract operation to contact Ilase and start looking forward to the future
