Nice food, bad attitude! Went in for a hot filled baguette whilst visiting a relative in our home town. As you have to queue down the shop, you have no view of the food on offer. On reaching the counter there was only peri peri chicken left (the last portion). Asked if they were doing any more and the reply came no thats it. Then asked for the baguette to be cut in half so that we could eat it at the park. Reply was you should have asked me to cut it in half first, itll go everywhere He did eventually cut it in half after being told that was fine. Then he said next time ask me to cut it in half first!. Well guess what we wont back. Wont tolerate being spoken to like a child! Also if he knew he was running out of food and they werent replenishing why didnt he let the rest of the large queue of people know?

Bought a chicken and ham pie here today, Possibly the most horrible pie I have ever had. Utterly tasteless chicken, ham that was bland, rubbery with a slimy gravy of cornflour and grease. One star for the upper pastry and nothing for the wet rank cardboard lower lining or it horrible contents. Just an utterly nasty experience! This used to be a great butcher's shop with fantastic pies packed with meat and flavour. What happened?!!! In response-why would I want to contact the previous manager, if the fault is with the vile substandard product I bought yesterday? The pies Mr Lush sold were a delight, this was an abomination and an insult to all the pies in all the world.
