The Comic Guru

The worst comic shop I've ever been in. The layout is sprawling and messy with most items either overpriced or un priced. Invariably, if one finds an item of interest it will be unpriced. This means you will have to take it to the troll of an owner who will then look it up on his antiquated cataloguing system. 150 for a bronze age SGT Rock? Gimme a break. This wouldn't be so bad if the owner had a scincilla of charm about him but alas he is a black hole in this regard. I've rarely experienced a shopkeeper with such a hateful personality. Oppressive AND unhelpful, his attitude is that you're wandering around his home rather than a poorly organised and aesthetically awful shop. Avoid at all costs.

Big Range of comics! I've bought some cool stuff a couple of times from here, experience is always positive! Only criticism would be to put the prices on the comics.

Ordered some items online but still waiting after 4 weeks. Very frustrating as I have had no response from emails, so I'm hoping they show up soon at some point. A reply or update would be great as it's not good customer service. UDATE (21/02/23) - still waiting, so pretty poor customer service. It's a shame, really, as no one likes to pay for something and get nothing in return.

I did not get the comic that I ordered on-line from the website, so I won't make the mistake of buying from here again!!!
