Kumon Maths & English

Now I should preface this by saying our son is about to start learning with Kumon and had his 'assessment' the other day. Our son is autistic, on the very mild end of the spectrum, but he has sensory issues and can often come across as rude. We had an assessment with Jonathan in the Rumney Branch, who I just thought was wonderful with him, despite my son not really showing any of the enthusiasm he showed me personally after, with explaining and charting his potential progress, and even in that sesson, encouraging his strengths. It is so easy to cringe when your child is a bit rude because not everyone knows their temperament, but Jonathan just glided over it like it was nothing. I wonder why schools can't be like this??

My son is thriving on the tasks he is set. He never complains about going to Kumon, he looks forward to it... The understanding he has gained is amazing. I would highly recommend to anyone. We cannot wait to get to see everyone face to face & Thank goodness my son has had this learning throughout the pandemic. He really enjoys going to centre & being treated like a young man rather than a child or pupil. Jonathan, Liz & Oliver are simply wonderful..

My son and daughter started doing the maths programme in April 2020 and their confidence and ability in maths improved significantly. I then enrolled them on the English course months later as I was so happy with their maths progress. Although I can recommend the Kumon coursework in general, Jonathan and his team are the best asset to this branch of Kumon. Their encouragement and patience have helped with my children's development enormously.
