Hillcroft Residential Home

The staff at Hillcroft treat the residents like family. My mums whole demeanour has lifted since she went there and she is truly happy . Couldn't ask for anything more

Cant say enough about the excellent quality of care at Hillcroft. I live in America, but came home to Wales temporarily to care for my mother. When it became evident that she would need more care my mother was admitted to Hillcroft. As the Uk was on lockdown due to Covid-19 fantastic measures were taken by Alison, the manager, to facilitate the admission. I was allowed to stay in isolation with my mother for the required 2 weeks. Alison, and her staff were truly wonderful to my mother and I. Nothing was too much trouble. All requests were taken on board with flexibility and kindness by Alison and all her staff. When I left to return to the US I was comfortable knowing my dear mother was in safe hands. Alison is more than just a manager, she cares deeply about Hillcroft and all her people, staff and residents. This positivity is evident in the atmosphere of the community at Hillcroft. My dad was a resident. Hillcroft is very homely. The staff were very supportive and friendly both to us as a family and more importantly to my dad. They welcomed him and very quickly developed a good relationship with him. We were very happy with the support he received. When dad was taken into hospital a member staff visited him with genuine concern and the same member of staff attended his funeral. Both of these acts were greatly appreciated by our family.
