Very nice place in quite neighborhood. lovely decor. Great food and selection of beers. Realy nice Staff, could not ask for more. We recommend burger and dirty fries

When I called to reserve I was answered by a central booking team. I was aware that some Varsity matches were taking place and needed to know if the restaurant would be free later that evening. I was assured the matches would be over by then. I also looked on line to see the menu before booking. On arrival the place was packed and we made out way to the restaurant area, where I waited patiently while being ignored for several minutes. I realise the chap was dealing with someone but simple eye contact and alerting a free member of staff to help us would have taken very little time. Eventually we were told the restaurant wasnt open but we could sit there if we wished and told how central reservations always got it wrong. We started to read the menu which was totally different from the online version. After a few moments we were told by the manager that that menu was not being served and handed another, further reduced selection. Food was edible. I wont criticise the staff who had clearly been run off their feet most of the day but had we known what was on offer, would have gone elsewhere, where the atmosphere was more convivial for dining. Due to the restricted menu we spent very little, ate quickly and left.
