A.G. Meek Shoe Shop & Shoe Repairs

Took some old brown ankle boots in. Re-dyed black and now it's like having a pair of new shoes! Brilliant job- very happy with service.

I popped into A.G Meek today to get the strap of a heel fixed, needing it done in a short 2 day turnaround (for a wedding). The friendly cobbler (despite being pretty busy) took the shoe from me and fixed them perfectly in 10 minutes! Really happy with the service and would definitely come again for any shoe needs :)

I didn't think my purse could be mended but Matt reassured me they could, explained the options and specially ordered in the required poppers. Aneurin did a lovely job with a unique contrasting leather finish that I'm really happy with. Really pleased they are so passionate about repair in our throw away culture! Also got a couple of keys cut. Great service! Thank you!

Excellent staff and excellent, kind and courteous staff. My little Daschund Lilly loves to come along when I go there, and they make a lovely fuss of her. This place is amazing! Matt really cares about his craft, (that is evident from when you first speak to him!) He offered multiple solutions to fix 2 of my favourite pairs of boots, for a more than reasonable price and I'm super impressed with the outcome. Repairs were done very quickly and to an exceptional standard. Seriously, don't waste your time going to Timpson's they'll charge you more and do half a job. Swing by and support a local tradesman instead; its cheaper and better. It goes without saying that I will be returning for any future repairs.
