Booking was a breeze, fees are clearly stated. But was the junior staff member there wasn't too helpful. He was telling my husband that they had given our car to other customer because we were 2hrs late, when there was clearly a lot of vehicles in the garage. It was a weekday afternoon after the holiday season. There was a delay with our train (typical). Could've handled it much better.

Booking was easy. The first car I was given wasnt clean and smelt of cigarettes. The man apologised profusely and changed the car quickly and gave me a clean and upgraded alternative. When I returned the car it was pouring with rain and I had my two young children with me. I was going to walk to the garage to pick up my car from service however the man who worked at the Bessemer rd Hertz offered to drive me and my children there. Extremely kind of him as this was beyond what was expected. Great customer service at this branch thank you.

Service was very good and the car was clean but it was an electric car after just driving 24 miles as confirmed by them they wanted to charge me 10 to supposedly recharge the car. Its absolutely ridiculous. We wanted an automatic and this was the only one available. Be careful out there.

Appalling service. Was advised that we could pay by Apple pay over the phone and then told this wasn't an option when arrived. By this point they we're closing so had to wait until after New Year for the car. When we returned told the vehicle was unavailable! The manager Chris is rude and discourteous, there are so many other hire firms in Cardiff, avoid these guys at all costs. Update 10.1.23 - Just called up customer service to find out where our deposit is for the vehicle we never took and been told it would be 21 days after the branch told us 3 - 5 days, these guys will tell you anything to take your money!
