Since the new manager has taken over the home has been transformed into a homely environment which focuses on the residents . The staff are brilliant :)

Since being recommended by a social worker, arriving at Cliffhaven a couple of months ago I was encouraged that the staff cannot do enough for residents whilst still encouraging them to further their independence and maintain their dignity. They encourage them to walk and take part in all of the very varied activities on offer. The food is good, the home is clean, homely, and cosy, and the garden is lovely with good accessibility. There is a also quiet lounge for those who want to read, or spend time doing puzzles etc. The management is very welcoming and showed me around a choice of bedrooms that can be personalised with my family member's own items. I'm sure I'll be back.

My mother was here for several years. When i finally found the courage to move her did I realise what an awful place this was. She was completely uncared for. She was in such an awful unkempt state that she didn't recognise us. Within 3 weeks of moving to another home bellavista cardiff she was a different person. Here they show love and care. My mother has lost all of her possessions at cliffhaven. Items given to her by her husband and grandchildren. The home claim they were disposed of due to hygiene ??? If you love your parent don't send them here. It's all about money and not care let alone love.
