Ah man, I don't know where to begin with this place! So, you walk up the stairs to be greeted by friendly staff as you enter a beautiful restaurant. It's not too upscale where you can feel out of place, but this isn't your chain-restaurants either. Then you pop a right, then BAM! You're looking from the second story right at Caerphilly castle, and it is stunning! I loved the tour of the castle, but to sit there enjoying your meal, and admire it from there was quite wonderful. And the food! Oh man the food was great! There was 6 of us. 2 vegans, 1 vegetarian and 3 omnivores. And everyone loved their meals. We were each sampling each other's, and even the meat eaters enjoyed the vegan options! The staff were very friendly and were there promptly if you needed anything. The price for everything was actually quite reasonable. We were expecting to pay more, especially for what we got. We all left very satisfied.

Sunday roast was terrible. Not sure what the poor cow did to deserve this but it has suffered for its sins.
