Granny Mac's

Scams people through Uber Eats and other online market places, would give it 0 if I could but wanted to warn others. 30 minutes into waiting for an order after it had been confirmed Granny Macs cancelled and informed Uber Eats that we had called them to cancel it meaning that they kept the 20 from us and we now have to go through an ordeal with Uber Eats - and possibly a charge back through our bank - in order to get our money back. Fair enough to cancel an order if youre overwhelmed but to steal money from customers is disgusting!!

Had the jacket potato and chips and the portion was far too big for one person and undercooked. Extremely bland and needed a lot of salt to make edible. The server didn't seem to know what he was doing and it felt a little unprofessional. The cutlery I was given had cemented on food residue on it. Won't be coming back unfortunately.

Ordered at 12:35 pm on berEats, delivered at 2:10 pm - which was later than the delivery time stated. I wouldn't mind but A, why accept orders you will struggle to fulfil? (When I phoned the woman said they "were having a nightmare and only have one driver on today"). B, does it really take that long to prepare a muffin, onion rings, and put some coleslaw in a pot? C, the 'Eggs Benedict' didn't have the Hollandaise sauce on it as advertised and the muffin wasn't toasted and the whole thing was cold. D, the onion rings were freezing and were sat in a huge pool of oil. The whole thing was inedible, and the onion rings were so oily that I had half of one and it's upset my stomach. I'm all for supporting local independent businesses, but never from here again!
