My son went for a taster, I said he was nervous as he hadn't been to clubs before and he assured me everything would be ok and to come early so he could chat to him before hand. We came early but the instructor was late so he went straight into the lesson , my son stood in line happy to do it but when the instructor asked him to take his shoes off and my son explained he hated taking them off he told him to sit down which he did then he forced his shoes off, I went towards him and said no but he replied its ok. I took my son from there as he was really distressed clearly it was not ok, untill this day hes worried about trying new clubs incase this happens again.

Good premises in the Caerphilly Leisure Centre, and enjoying the Karate lessons at the studio suite, as it is more private than the badminton courts where the classes where held before. There is plenty of space in the studio suite with small, intermediate and dedicated classes. The instructor is passionate about teaching and the students are all learning and improving techniques steadily. Ju Dachi Martial Arts teaches traditional Karate and I have seen parents who are too "sensitive" when it comes to how they perceive the teaching approach towards their kids as students. What I have always experienced and witnessed with my child, myself and any other student at this school: is dedicated and safe classes, including pairwork, fitness, kata, kumite (sparring), and fun lessons too! Training Karate should not be a quick and light decision to make. Karate should be for life.... And I am so happy having chosen for my child to train and learn Karate and for me investing for skills for life. I love the flexibility to attend to any of the classes not only at this location, but at Llanishen Leisure Centre and the hall in Senghenydd. 100% recommended for all ages, kids and adults.

Both have been doing karate for about 18 months .best thing for kids do learn not just in class but in the streets being able to defend themselves also discipline. Jon is firm but fair

My son has been training with John 3,5 years. He loves the lessons. It's hard but very useful. Now my little one joined the class as well. I also really appreciate how John talk with kids about bullying, self-esteem, healthy food and so on. Highly recommended.
