Esthers design work certainly brings the wow factor, and is second to none. She brings any project to life but keeps a modern and minimalist style. Her professionalism is outstanding and she will go the extra mile, listening to even the smallest of details we wanted. I am delighted to have the opportunity to provide a testimonial for Esther Milardi of DiOro Interiors, Cardiff. She was recommended to me by a close friend who had employed her for the refurbishment of their bathroom. Esther undertook the complete transformation of my guest room and also some work in my study area and the master bedroom. Esther is the fifth interior designer with whom I have worked and, in my experience, provides a uniquely professional service. She has a great sense of style and coordination. Not only does she design the project, after full consultation with her client about preferences and budget, but she manages the work throughout. She schedules and co-ordinates the team of excellent tradesmen who regularly work with her. She is on-site every day that work is taking place, on hand to deal with any unforeseen issues. Undertaking home improvements can be a stressful time for householders: when people are working in your home it can be disruptive and inconvenient and things do not always go to plan. Esther's hands-on approach throughout the work removes that source of stress. She is completely in command of the project. I had every confidence that she would find solutions to any problems that arose during the refurbishment and had total peace of mind. The results of her design have been much admired by friends and family and I thoroughly recommend her, both as a designer, and as a project manager. Indeed, I recommended Esther to one of my neighbours who has been similarly impressed with her work.

Working with Esther was an absolute pleasure. After deciding to refurbish our front room but unsure of the best way forward we engaged Esther to provide some initial ideas and options and, following several visits to our home, Esther produced a mood board which formed the basis for the design. Esther worked with us to translate the mood board into a defined plan with timescales and an agreed budget. Throughout the whole process, Esther was able to provide guidance and a helping hand in enabling us to make decisions on the various aspects of the project. At no time did we feel pressured and it was good to work with someone who allowed us to talk through the various options. Inevitably a complete refurbishment in a 1930s house is a messy business particularly when floor sanding and the dreaded black mortar are involved. Esthers project management and organisational skills meant that this was kept to a minimum and the work was undertaken professionally and courteously. We were impressed with Esthers commitment to the project to the extent that she was still working late on in the evening to ensure the work was progressing. She took care of engaging all of the tradespeople who worked on the project and the standard of their work was truly outstanding. She was there at all times to supervise and to open and lock up so that we could carry on as normal without having to wait in or change work commitments. Results were amazing. A complete transformation of the room way beyond our expectations. We would recommend Esther without hesitation and would definitely work with her again on a future project.
