I was rear ended by a driver that uses this company and thought that would be the worst part, unfortunately not. Wait time on hold every single time of 1-2 hours hearing your call is important to us . Unfortunately not important enough for them to hire an appropriate amount of staff. The body shop they referred me to is an absolute shambles, and Im still waiting for my vehicle to be seen to 5 months later. Perfect fit for each other. Not a single check up from Elephant in that time so I called several times to complain and their response was more or less that its mine and the garages issue now. How on earth has this been allowed to happen in this country where the insurance company is allowed to refer you to a third party and wash their hands of the problem and basically leave it to you to sort out yourself. As you can probably tell I am furious with this whole thing and Ill never use not only Elephant but Ill be switching from Admiral (my current insurer who owns them) at the next renewal

Spoke to Josh from the renewals team today and he couldnt have been more helpful. After receiving a high renewal offer I called to discuss how we could lower this and he saved me a total of 209 through a short 10 min conversation. Also was not kept on hold and the conversation was put through immediately.

My car was stolen on the 16/10/2020 and im yet to recieve my claim. They have fobbed me off for over 2 years saying they are waiting for the police report. I have been in contact with the police on multiple occasions who have repeatedly confirmed all they need is to give them the crime reference number which I have given them on multiple occasions. Absolute scam artists.
