Great service. Andrew was easy to speak to and spoke in layman's terms. Didnt try to sell me things I don't need and talked me through everything. On my policy expiring Denise called me with a deal for far better cover for a smaller price. I couldnt find this lever of cover anywhere for the same cost. Even offered to cancel my old policy and made everything as simple as possible. Active quote will be staying on my policy as I feel they have saved me a lot of money and time. Wouldnt hesitate recommend.

Mis-sold Sickness policy by incorrectly stating Wait Period. Active Quote provided me with a quote stating that the Sickness Insurance policy had "Day 1 wait period". I therefore took out the policy on the basis that the wait period was 1 day. When I went to make a claim recently the Insurer told me that the wait period was actually 30 days so I was unable to claim. This policy was mis-sold due to Active Quote having stated the wait period incorrectly. Their website and quote made absolutely no reference to the 30 days, and as it was so clearly stated by them as being 1 day I didn't check further documentation that arrived after the policy had started. Stating that they didn't provide advice is no defence as they did provide the information about the policy that was wrong which constitutes mis-selling. It is terrible that they fail to take any responsibility for providing incorrect information! The Financial Ombudsman has now made their initial ruling in my favour, agreeing that ActiveQuote mis-sold my policy by providing incorrect information, and ordering ActiveQuote to refund all premiums that I paid them with interest.
