27 emails from this manic "hotel" owner since I booked a room 48hrs before arrival. It's an apartment block where you use a key safe code to open a box, let yourself into your room and there are no staff on the premises. The minute you book, all they want is your money but until they get it, you won't get the details of how to access the place. That said, beautiful block, courtyard and room. Much quieter than a hotel. Bed spread was stained. We took it off the bed. The mirror was marked. We told the cleaner as we left. Linen/laundry bags were left in the foyer from check in at 3pm to at least 11pm when I came back to the room. That's a fire risk. The block is quite naturally warm. The windows are good but extractor fans/air con units in other parts of the building are on 24/7. Worth the 50 I paid.

Great location. Decor is dated but I could overlook that if the room were clean with a comfortable bed. Unfortunately the room was dirty (thick dust on the fake plants in the room, suspiciously stained throw, musky smell of smoke) and the bed was extremely uncomfortable. It was like trying to sleep on springs. We were also sold a kingsize bed and the bed was a double. The owners obviously do not care about this hotel. Avoid. Update: Left after the first night of a two-night booking because of the above. We were refused any kind of refund, even partial. A grim place.
