Rhayn is a warm and inspiring teacher who encourages his pupils to achieve the highest standards. His thorough approach introduces students to new techniques with a rich variety of music, whilst Rhayn always encourages personal interpretation and the development of musicianship. My son loves his lessons with Rhayn, he finds them fun and has made fantastic progress!

After having had three years worth of lessons with Rhayn at the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama, it would be an understatement to say that his mentorship, advise and warm, welcoming spirit have been key in my development as a classical guitarist. Through thorough, insightful lessons he has helped me achieve more than I could ever have imagined. Including: Grade 6 and 8 ABRSM guitar with distinction, performances in the RWCMD concerto competition, winning performances in the South Wales guitar society competition and success at being offered a place at all of my conservatoire choices. This includes Trinity Laban, RWCMD, the Royal Northern College of Music and the Royal College of Music (where I am currently studying). If you have lessons with Rhayn, I have no doubt that he will fulfil all of your expectations. As such a diverse guitarist, who has an in depth knowledge into genres such as jazz, blues, rock, metal and classical, you cannot go wrong with his guidance!
