They are a wholesaler, not a shop and may not have time available for chat if your killing time on a slow day.

I popped in with a colleague, on a slow day to browse their range of head torches in the shop and were literally thrown out for chatting to the guys behind the counter. There was no one else waiting to be served or even in the shop but the manager came out and started shouting about how his staff were too busy to talk to us and that we needed to get out!.
I suggest that you shouldn't have opened a shop if you don't want your staff to talk to people.
