SSE

Please avoid if at all possible. I have a company chasing me for a 'debt' at a property I owned three years ago for which I did not have an SSE account , so obviously a scam. SSE customer services were appalling- when I finally got through! (Disconnected 3 times). Refused to discuss as it is a 'closed' account, so I am still unable to resolve the issue. The 'customer service' person talked over me when I attempted to make my point and then complained that I had kept her for 12 minutes. One star given reluctantly.

SSE are charging me for a third meter I havent got. They want over 400 a month increased from 200. I have gone to the energy ombudsman regarding this. Id recommend anyone who has issues with SSE to do the same. Anyway Octopus Energy is a much better company.

Sse terrible. Now been taken over by ovo energy, another rip off supplier with high daily charges and a complicated set of energy charges that dont add up ! Rip off.

Terrible service kept on hold for 2 hours after saying I will put you on hold. Shocking waste of time are these people being paid or not looks like they are not taking their job seriously. What a joke not nice at all well done sse

This company is to be avoided and its new take over, keep pushing my diret debt payments up saying im using more yet my usage has been the same or less each month, built up hundreds of credit and now been chasing them for near 3 weeks for a refund, last time over a 1000 this time 546 to which intransfered 100 to gas as it was on electric yet no refund of the rest and i keep getting false promises. Please if anyone knows of a legal procceding i can take feel free to contact me.
