Friendly welcoming staff eased my back pain considerably

Years of commuting and general, everyday abuse had left my back in a bad way. Eventually this caught up with me and I was struck with incredible back-pain as my body finally couldn't compensate any more. After a few visits to see Sian I was on the mend, my spine was get much needed attention and my muscles were able to function properly once again. It was very interesting to learn and experience. I can recommend to anyone who is suffering in a similar way.

I have suffered from knee problems since I was 16 following a football injury. I have over many years tried simply everything to manage the pain and general discomfort. All had little or no effect. My wife suggested I try Sian at Active Health as she has had incredible progress with Sian managing her arthritis. I have had less than 5 sessions with Sian and I can report a fantastic result thus far ! My condition was such that I began to see my daily living through the prism of ..could I walk back, or were there steps to negotiate? I've always been keen on sport, but my condition meant I also had to give up many of the activities I really enjoyed. My sessions with Sian include gentle manipulation and acupuncture. My knee feels both looser and stronger at the same time. I'm not taking anything like the medication I was and tentatively thinking of getting the golf clubs out of the garage ! There is a saying, " you can't put a price on your health". I know that now. Thanks Sian and Bea for all you have done in such a short time. Huw

Sian is professional, highly skilled and caring. My back was so very painful a few months ago that I couldn't walk more than 50 yards without stopping and, where possible, sitting down. Now the dogs and I are enjoying long, painless walks! I have such confidence in Sian that I've signed up for continuing monthly appointments to ensure my back and shoulder muscles behave themselves! Bea, on reception, is warm, friendly and welcoming.

I highly recommend Sian & her team. I've been a patient for many years. Most recently after a week of Vertigo and sickness, half an hour with Sian and I feel as good as new.
