The best breakfast and brunch menu in Caerphilly. There I said it. Proper hidden gem! Healthy menu and great value for money. Friendly atmosphere and the staff are really accommodating. I'll be returning probably on a weekly basis.

Ordered food in the morning with a collection time of 12.20. Arrive on time to have to wait a further 10 minutes. Then when I drove back to work with our meals we found out we were missing some dirty fries. No problem Ill just drive back its a honest mistake. Arrived and explained to be told it wasnt on the order and that they had written it down wrong. I was then rudely told if I wanted them I would have to wait a further 25 minutes. The food is nice but the poor customer services lets them down. I wrote the same review on their facebook page but they blocked me and removed it. Clearly not open to honest feed back. They have a winning formula if they can just sort out their poor customer service.

Turned up last Monday 1st Oct at 11.15am to find it closed. Any idea why ? Had taken my wife as we had both heard it was providing very popular breakfasts and lunches. Very disappointing having travelled back from an appt in Newport.

Burger and dirty fries in epic proportions! I picked up some lunch from the Backyard Kitchen and can safely say I won't be eating again until tomorrow. Stunning! Best burger I've had in a long time. Check this place out.

What an unexpected hidden gem! I was introduced to this little place by a friend for lunch the other day and was so impressed. Not what you would expect to find around the back of an industrial estate. The food was outstanding and such amazing value! I had the vegan spicy bean burger. I am not vegan, but can honestly say it was the best veggie/ vegan burger I have ever had- great flavour and texture combo and the portion of sweet potato fries so generous, and all at a fraction of the price I have paid elsewhere for food that is nowhere near this good. Such friendly and helpful service and so accommodating of my friend and I turning up with our young babies (prams, nappy bags etc). Breastfeeding friendly, Oh, and the coffee was good too! I understand that this little business is soon to expand into larger premises. I am sure that they will do brilliantly and wish them all the best. I shall certainly be recommending and will look forward to another visit when I'm in that part of the world again.
